PERSONAL STATEMENT

He was born in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Graduated from Istanbul Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Interior Architecture in 2007.

After completing his education, he became one of the founding partners of DeNN Design in 2007, after gaining experience in offices such as Inart, BT Architecture, and Creative Architecture, laying the foundation for his design and construction career. 

He continued to explore and shape the boundaries of design as one of the founding partners of Paratoner Design in 2009.

Between 2010 and 2016, he worked as an Interior Architect at Teamfores Architecture in Istanbul, Turkey, managing complex projects with a focus on project management, team leadership, and client relations.

In June 2016, he joined Scon Construction as an Interior Architect and relocated to Canada in the same year. He worked with Scon Construction until 2020, contributing to various architectural and renovation projects.

He continued his innovation journey by establishing MO (MuratÖzbay) Design Studio, where he collaborated with professional design and architecture firms to deliver high-quality projects.

In 2018, he enhanced his communication skills by completing the English for Academic Purposes program

at Mohawk College in Ontario, Canada.

Pursuing further expertise, he graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology from Sheridan College in 2023.

In 2023-2024, he worked at Eraart Construction in Canada, focusing on interior design planning and execution.

In August 2024, he relocated to Munich, Germany, where he continues to advance his career in interior architecture and design.

"As a designer, I focus on perceiving the world without preconceived notions. I see design as the art of distinguishing between different elements and effectively communicating them. Spatial design is the process of creating strong connections between multiple data sources and the emotions tied to living spaces to meet specific requirements with optimal solutions. The purity and simplicity of these connections determine the strength and uniqueness of the final product, resulting in products that are appealing, practical, and comfortable, while harmoniously integrating new materials and the latest technology. My ultimate goal is to produce strong, collaborative solutions on a universal scale, seamlessly integrated with the flow of life, and embodying both quality and quantity, independent of any specific period or movement."
